UK 2018 50p 1918 Representation of The People Act Silver Proof Coin

The passing of the Representation of the People Act 1918 through Parliament is considered one of the greatest milestones for democracy in the United Kingdom. The Royal Mint has struck this commemorative 50p coin to mark the 100th anniversary of this momentous piece of legislation. The reverse of the coin was created by Royal Mint graphic designer Stephen Taylor, who has placed the people of Britain firmly at the heart of his design.
