Postage and Shipping Policy

At Town Hall Coins and Collectables PTY LTD, we take care to ensure your valuable items are packaged securely and shipped efficiently. This page outlines our policies regarding delivery methods, costs, timeframes, and responsibilities.

1. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to:

Australia-wide (all states and territories)

Selected International Destinations (contact us if unsure about your location)

Some international destinations may have restrictions on importing coins or precious metals. It is the buyer’s responsibility to check local import laws before placing an order.

2. Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days.

During busy periods or for high-value items requiring additional verification dispatch may take up to 5 business days.

We will notify you if there is a delay in processing your order.

5. Insurance and Liability

We highly recommend adding insurance for valuable or rare items.

Once an item is lodged with the postal carrier, risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer unless insurance has been purchased.

If your parcel is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us immediately and we will assist in filing a claim (if insured).

6. Packaging

All items are securely packaged using padded mailers, coin holders, and/or protective cases as required to ensure safe delivery.

Discreet packaging is used to avoid drawing attention to valuable contents.

7. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes (International
Orders)

International customers are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or taxes levied by their local government.

We will not mark items as "gifts" or falsify values on customs forms.

8. Delays and Exceptions

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

Postal carrier service disruptions

Customs processing

Public holidays

Natural disasters or pandemics

9. Address Accuracy
