Tuvalu 2027 50c Lunar Baby Year of The Goat 1/2oz Silver Coloured Proof Coin

According to the lunar calendar, the Year of the Goat occurs between 6 February 2027 and 25 January 2028. Babies born during this time are said to be blessed with the goat’s artistic flare, compassion and  courageousness. The coin’s coloured reverse portrays a representation of a playful young goat leaping over rocky ground and flowering plants at the base of a mountain background. The Chinese character for ‘goat’, the inscription ‘YEAR OF THE GOAT’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark are also incorporated in the design.
