Rooted in 80's nostalgia, it has sparked a resurgence of pop culture items from the decade with every new season, including Eggo waffles and New Coke. The coin’s coloured reverse pays tribute to the iconic Season 1 poster. The design features each of the main characters including Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Eleven, and the rest of the Hawkins crew. The eerie background portrays the mysterious town of Hawkins.
