Tuvalu 2023 50c Disney 100th Anniversary Nemo 1/2oz Silver Coloured Proof Coin

Finding Nemo was created by Pixar Animation Studios (Pixar), a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company in 2006. The coin’s reverse portrays a smiling, coloured Nemo surrounded by a raised reef and bubbles. Dory swims behind, waving her fin and grinning. Included on the reverse are the inscriptions ‘Disney 100’ and ‘Pixar’, along with The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. The obverse features Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II supplemented by the dates of her reign ‘1952-2022’.
