Tuvalu 2012 $1 Wildlife In Need Black Rhinoceros 1oz Silver Coloured Proof Coin

The Black Rhinoceros is characterised by its sizeable frame and distinctive horns. The coin’s reverse features an adult Black Rhinoceros and calf in colour, against an African savannah backdrop. The lower reverse comprises a struck design showing a pair of supporting hands. The inscription WILDLIFE IN NEED - BLACK RHINOCEROS is also incorporated into the design. The coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
