Tuvalu 2012 $1 R.M.S. Titanic 100th Anniversary 1oz Silver Coloured Proof Coin

It was the world’s most famous passenger ship disaster. On a cold moonless night just before midnight, the ‘unsinkable’ Titanic struck an iceberg. The coin’s reverse depicts a coloured representation of the White Star Line’s poster design of Titanic, set against the ocean and sky. The inscriptions TITANIC, 100TH ANNIVERSARY and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark are also incorporated into the design.
