MAGNA GRAECIA, Sicily, Gela, Silver Litra (0.46g, 13mm), circa 430-425 BC. Obv. Naked horseman galloping left, carrying dory in right hand and aspis in left. Rev. Forepart of man-headed bull right, "CEΛAΣ" above. Jenkins 401. Struck on a thin, broad flan and choice each side, deeply toned with a steel-grey patina, near Very Fine to Very Fine, scarce.
