ROMAN REPUBLIC, Anonymous Issue, Silver Denarius (2.99g, 18mm), Rome mint 179-170 BC. Obv. Head of Roma right, wearing winged Attic helmet, "X" (mark of value) to left. Rev. Luna commands biga right, crescent above, feather and "ROMA" in linear frame below. Sear-70. A tough off centre on reverse, else nicely toned with original cabinet tone, visually attractive obverse, Very Fine / near Very Fine.
