Laureate head right, "SEVERVS PIVS AVG". Rev. Roma seated left, carrying palladium, "RESTITVTOR VRBIS". RIC 288; RSC 606. A nice issue presenting Septimius Severus with the title of 'Restitutor Urbis' due in large to his achievements of avenging Pertinax, defeating his enemies Clodius Albinus and Pescennius Niger, and restoring Rome's prestige after his conquests in the East, two light flan cracks, broad flan, Very fine.
