Mickey’s Revue is a black and white Disney cartoon released on 25 May 1932. As the name suggests it starred Mickey Mouse, but it is notable for the first appearance of the character who would become Goofy - shown as a member of the audience cheering on Mickey’s musical comedy. This unique, rectangular coin features a replica image of the 1930’s poster for the Disney cartoon Mickey’s Revue. The design incorporates both colour and engraving to great effect.
