2026 $1 International Year of Rangelands & Pastoralists Heart and Soul of Australia Uncirculated Coin

The United Nations has designated 2026 as the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists (IYRP). Rangelands cover about 75% of Australia's landmass, and span many different types of environments - woodlands, grasslands, shrublands, deserts and tropical savannahs. They include incredibly diverse landscapes, such as the Pilbara in WA, the vast Red Centre, the Barkly Tableland in the NT, and the Channel Country extending from Queensland. With the vast space they occupy in both a physical and cultural sense, our rangelands are very much the heart and soul of the nation.
