2025 $1 Centenary of Royal Australian Corps of Signals PNC

Members of the Corps have since served with distinction in Korea, Vietnam, the Western Sahara, Cambodia, Somalia, Rwanda, Bougainville, Solomon Islands, East Timor (Timor Leste), Iraq and Afghanistan and a variety of global contingency operations in support of our national  interests. At home, signallers have supported civil authorities during major bushfire and flood events. The Royal Australian Corps of Signals badge features Mercury, the winged messenger of the gods. The motto "Certa Cito", translates as Swift and Sure, signifying the aim of the signal service - that communication be carried out with maximum speed and certainty.
