The Covid-19 pandemic has cost lives and affected individuals and communities in many and profound ways. At the forefront of Australia's response have been our frontline heroes - those who have put their own safety at risk to protect and assist their fellow Australians. These people come from many sectors, whether healthcare, policing, defence and emergency service, postal and delivery, education, retail and more. We are grateful to all who have played their part in keeping people safe and communities functioning, as we battle the insidious effects of Covid-19.
