The Royal Australian Air Force marks 100 years of service to Australia on 31 March 2021. Building on the achievements of the Australian Flying Corps during the First World War, Air Force became the third brother in the Australian military family. Air Force has always been on the leading edge of technology, from the wood and fabric aircraft of the 1920s which were technological marvels in their time, to the advanced aircraft of today like the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, and into the future.
