2021 $1 Merry Christmas PNC

Spread the joy this Christmas with a touch of Australiana. There are nearly a thousand species of wattle in this country, including our national floral emblem, the Golden Wattle, and others in unusual pink and purple hues. Hundreds of species of the ubiquitous eucalyptus are also found across the continent. The coin features one of our iconic birds, the rambunctious, cheeky Sulphur crested Cockatoo. For a more traditional take on the festive season, the stamps reference the custom of celebrating Christmas with sugary gingerbread delicacies.
