2021 $1 Australian Penny Copper Uncirculated 2 Coin Set

Australian currency has a colourful history, from its beginnings as an early barter system used by First Nations Australians, through to modified Spanish dollars, British and Australian pounds, gold sovereigns and finally to today's dollars and cents. In 2021 we celebrate the 110th anniversary of the first Australian penny, which was in circulation for more than 50 years until 1966.
