2020 75th Anniversary End of The Second World War Three Coin Set

On 15 August 1945, the Japanese Government surrendered to the Allies, effectively bringing about the end of the Second World War. This followed the surrender of Germany on 7 May. The war had raged since 1939, the deadliest conflict in human history, with at least 60 million casualties. This set, consisting of an Australian $5 coin, a NZ $1 coin, and a UK £5 coin, reflects the hope for peace and the sorrow of loss shared by the Allied nations of Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
