2020 50c 60 Years of Supercars Holden VS Commodore PNC

The VS was the final iteration of the much-loved second-generation Commodore, powered by a large 5.0-litre Chevrolet V8 engine producing 450KW of power. Who better for the Holden Racing Team to at the helm of this beast than Craig Lowndes, the young homegrown hero who won his debut ATCC in 1996, at age 20, and who had recently returned from a stint in Europe. In 1998, “The Kid” picked up where he left off, winning the Sandown round and sending warning to his more experienced rivals, including fellow teammate Mark Skaife, who had replaced retired superstar Peter Brock.
