2019 $2 Figure 8 Koi Fish 2oz Silver Antiqued Shaped Coin

With their ability to swim upstream, koi fish have long represented perseverance and strength of purpose in eastern cultures. Shaped like a figure eight, the coin’s reverse features two koi fish swimming against the currents, and a lotus flower. The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark also appears in the design. The Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is shown on the coin’s obverse. A pattern of infinity symbols surrounds each circle in the figure eight design.
