2019 $1 6th Portrait A New Effigy Era Silver Proof Coin

The year 2019 marks the evolution of Australia’s coins to the sixth effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Replacing the 1998 effigy by Ian Rank-Broadley, is an adaptation of the original design by Mr Jody Clark, an engraver for the United Kingdom’s Royal Mint. This magnificent coin features the new Clark effigy on the obverse, and on the reverse, the familiar effigy by Rank-Broadley, finished to the Mint's world-class proof standard.
