2018 $1 65th Anniversary of The Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II PNC

On 6 February 1952, Princess Elizabeth ascended to the British throne, following the death of her father, King George VI. June 2nd, 1953, the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II took place at Westminster Abbey, the setting for coronations since 1066. It was a formal yet spectacular
ceremony, lasting almost three hours and conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury. More than 8,000 guests attended, with 129 nations and territories officially represented.
