2017 Proof Set

Depicting a monarch or state emblem on the obverse side of coins is a practice almost as old as the concept of monetary exchange itself. One constant among all Australian coins since 1953 has been the likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, appearing on the obverse side of our coin currency. Along with the current [2017] standard design on these proof coins featured in this set, all four effigies of Her Majesty which have adorned Australian coins throughout her reign appear on the packaging.
