2017 $1 Australian Posters of World War I Australian Home Front 1oz Silver Coloured Proof Rectangle Shaped Coin

In 1916 the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) established the Snapshots from Home League of Australia, which aimed to raise the morale of those Australians serving in WWI by supplying them with photographs of their loved ones at home. The coin’s reverse features a coloured representation of the ‘Send them all snapshots from home’, poster headed by the inscription AUSTRALIAN HOME LEAGUE. The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark also appears in the design.
