2016 $1 Queen Elizabeth II 90th Birthday PNC

Her Majesty The Queen celebrates her 90th birthday in 2016. To officially mark this historic occasion, birthday celebrations will take place in the grounds of Windsor Castle between 12 and 15 May 2016. The festivities are a celebration of the Queen’s life as well as a reflection of Her Majesty’s great love of horses, significant interest in the Commonwealth and deep involvement with the British armed forces. The Queen’s Mounted Troops, as well as more than 100 pipers, 900 horses and 1,500 performers, will help to tell the story of the Queen’s life.
