After Gallipoli, Australian and New Zealand troops fought alongside each other in the bitter conflict on the Western Front in France. The bond between Australia and New Zealand continued after the First World War, with the two countries serving alongside each other in the Second World War, Korea and Vietnam. The reverse of the coin features a unique design commemorating the-centennial year of the Gallipoli Landings.
