2015 20c 800th Anniversary of The Magna Carta Uncirculated Coin

The Magna Carta is regarded as the cornerstone of Western concepts of Government and one of the most influential documents in the history of the English-speaking world. Originally sealed by King John in 1215 and re-issued by subsequent Kings, it has shaped English, American and Australian legislation and the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In 1952, the Australian Government purchased one of the four surviving original 1297 Inspeximus copies of Magna Carta issued by King Edward I. This copy is displayed at the Australian Parliament House.
