2014 Baby Mint Set

Like other Australian literary classics this six coin Baby Uncirculated Set features, Ethel Pedley's 1899 classic Dot and the Kangaroo. Dot and the Kangaroo has since become a much loved Australian children's story. Both the book and the 1977 feature film provide an insight into the experience of early settlers intertwined with the fantasy of the Australian bush coming alive. Pedley's original preface implored readers to sympathise with native animals, "whose extinction, through ruthless destruction, is being surely accomplished".
