2014 $2 Remembrance Day PNC

On Remembrance Day we observe the anniversary of the armistice that led to the end of the Great War (1914-18). On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month a minute’s silence commemorates those who fought and perished during World War I and subsequent conflicts. The red poppy symbolises the sacrifice of those brave soldiers who lost their lives. Lest we forget.
