One of the most important commemorations in Australian history, these five  coins were issued to mark the centenary of Australia's involvement in the First World War from 1914 to 1918. Released over 5 years and bearing the official centenary logo, each coin incorporates a depiction of an Australian soldier. This important Australian military commemorative is also distinguished by a burst of sun rays reminiscent of the Australian Army's Rising Sun Badge. Each coin has a different obverse date from 2014 to 2018, marking the centenary of each year of the First World War.
