2014 $1 Australian Map Shaped Koala 1oz Silver Coloured Coin

The coin's coloured reverse depicts a koala carrying a baby joey against picturesque bush scenery and eucalypt trees. One of the most iconic symbols of Australia, the beloved koala is perfectly  adapted for its environment. Recognised by its grey fur and bear-like appearance, this marsupial lives in trees and feeds only on a specific type of eucalypt leaf.
