2014 $1 Australian Map Shaped Crocodile 1oz Silver Coloured Coin

The coin's coloured reverse depicts a saltwater crocodile against the background of wild wetlands at sunset. The inscription SALTWATER CROCODILE also appears in the design with The Perth Mint's traditional 'P' mintmark and year date. The Australian saltwater  crocodile populates both brackish and fresh water and is an excellent swimmer. Recognised by its size, immense jaw, scales and muscular tail, the saltwater crocodile is the earth's largest living reptile.
