2013 $1 World Heritage Sites Lord Howe Island 1oz Silver Coloured Proof Coin

The Lord Howe Island Group was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1982. The coin’s coloured reverse represents the Lord Howe Islands Group’s stunning landscape and features two native Sooty Tern seabirds gliding through the air. The inscriptions AUSTRALIA and LORD HOWE ISLAND GROUP are also incorporated in the design with The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
