2013 $1 World Heritage Sites Fraser Island 1oz Silver Coloured Proof Coin

Fraser Island was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1992. The coin’s coloured reverse represents Fraser Island’s sandy shoreline and a dingo, one of several species of wildlife native to the island. The inscriptions AUSTRALIA and FRASER ISLAND are also incorporated in the design with The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
