The stocky Atlantic Puffin is known for its brightly coloured beak and orange-red legs. They are found on the rocky coasts of land masses situated in the northern Atlantic Ocean. Atlantic Puffins use their spectacular diving skills to catch fish, crustaceans and molluscs. Interesting Atlantic Puffin’s are sometimes called the “sea parrot” or “clown of the sea” because of its colourful beak and legs, the Atlantic Puffin’s appearance changes so dramatically between breeding and non-breeding season that two separate species were originally described.
