2013 $1 Celebrating The Queens' Coronations PNC

Two significant royal anniversaries are celebrated in 2013 - the 175th anniversary of the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Victoria and the 60th anniversary of the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Perth Mint has released two coins, each reverse, featuring crowns worn by the two Queens - the St Edward’s Crown worn at their coronation and the Small Diamond Crown, Victoria’s most recognisable jewel. Victoria’s coronation was held on 28 June 1838 at Westminster Abbey. Elizabeth's coronation also took place in Westminster Abbey on 2 June 1953.
