2013 $1 Birth of A Prince PNC

Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge was born on 22 July 2013 at 4.24pm BST. He was introduced to the world the following day on the steps of the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital. The first child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, he is (at the time) third in line to the throne after Prince Charles and his father Prince William. For the first time in British history the gender of the newborn royal was irrelevant - the newly altered Act of Succession meant that the first born, whether boy or girl, would be monarch.
