2013 $1 Australian Map Shaped Kangaroo 1oz Silver Coloured Coin

One of the most iconic symbols of Australia, the world-renowned kangaroo is well adapted to hop great distances, and possesses a pouch in which to carry its young. The coin's coloured reverse depicts a kangaroo, against an idyllic sunset scene of Picnic Rocks, Tasmania. The inscription KANGAROO also appears in the design with The Perth Mint's traditional 'P' mintmark and year-date.
