2013 $1 175th Anniversary of The Coronation of Queen Victoria 1oz Silver Coloured Proof Coin

Victoria was born on 24 May 1819 in London. Her father, Edward, the Duke of Kent died when she was a baby. On the death of her uncle, William IV, Victoria was the only legitimate heir, and therefore, first in the line of succession. The coin’s reverse depicts a version of Queen Victoria’s State Portrait from the Royal Collection. An image of Queen Victoria's miniature crown, the inscription QUEEN VICTORIA 175TH ANNIVERSARY OF CORONATION and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark are also included in the design.
