2012 $1 International Year of The Co-Operatives PNC

The United Nations has declared 2012 the International Year of Co-operatives in recognition of the important role played by co-operatives in social and economic development worldwide. Co-operatives are commercially sustainable and they share that success with their members who are also their owners. This ownership structure is what makes the co-operative unique.
