2011 $5 Remembrance Day Red Foil Limited Edition PNC

Remembrance Day marks the anniversary of the armistice reached on 11 November 1918, which marked the end of conflict on the Western Front and, soon after, the end of the Great War. Initially named Armistice Day, this commemoration was renamed Remembrance Day after World War II, to honour those killed and wounded in all theatres of war. Each year, at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month, one minute's silence is observed to honour those killed and wounded during war.
