2011 $1 Centenary of RMC Duntroon 1oz Silver Proof Coin and Badge Set

The Royal Military College of Australia is responsible for training cadets for service as officers in the Australian Army. The coin’s reverse portrays a series of figures symbolising the roles and challenges undertaken by officer cadets at Duntroon. The design includes a coloured representation of the Royal Military College badge incorporating the motto DOCTRINA VIM PROMOVET (learning promotes strength). The Perth Mint's ‘P’ mintmark also appears on the coin’s reverse. The coin is accompanied by an authentic MC Duntroon badge made from copper with gold plating.
