The Grey Headed Flying Fox are large, furry bats with a tail-less body and large eyes, thought to resemble small foxes. Flying-foxes roost in tall, dense trees in northern and eastern Australia. It is commonly known that compressed pieces of fruit underneath a tree are a dead giveaway that a flying-fox has been feeding there. They squeeze out juice by squashing the fruit in their mouths, then spit out the remains.
