Crimson Rosella’s are medium-sized parrots, most commonly bright red, with blue on the cheeks and tail. They prefer eucalypt and other humid forests in Queensland and southeastern Australia. Not all Crimson Rosellas are red - some are mostly yellow and some are mostly orange. If a red Crimson Rosella mates with a less-common yellow Crimson Rosella, they will produce orange chicks.
