2010 $1 Shanghai World Expo Cityscape 1oz Silver Coin

Taking place between 1 May and 31 October, the Shanghai World Expo 2010 is the largest expo the world has ever seen. Honouring the host city, the reverse symbolises the Shanghai cityscape under a blue sky. Authorised by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the coin’s design also includes the Australian pavilion logo in colour and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. The obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
