2010 $1 Shanghai World Expo Australian Pavilion PNC

Shanghai World Expo 2010 takes place from 1 May to 31 October 2010. The theme of Expo 2010 is “Better City, Better Life”. The evocative Australian pavilion, designed by renowned Melbourne architect firm Wood Marsh, evokes Australia's ancient landscape and will showcase Australia's culture, history, people and industries. The welcoming Australian kookaburra mascot is named “Peng Peng” in Mandarin, which translates as “friendship”.
