2010 $1 Shanghai World Expo Australia Shaped 1oz Silver Coin

Taking place between 1 May and 31 October, the Shanghai World Expo 2010 is the largest expo the world has ever seen. Made in the shape of the Australian continent, the coloured reverse portrays the Australian pavilion logo and Peng Peng, the Australian pavilion's kookaburra mascot. The design also includes the Chinese characters for Australia and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. The obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
