2008 $1 Australian Antarctic Territory Humpback Whale 1oz Silver Coloured Proof Coin

The coin’s reverse depicts a coloured image of a Humpback Whale (Megaptera novaeangliae) and an icy landscape, which appear within the outline of Antarctica. As well as the inscription HUMPBACK WHALE: 2008, the reverse includes the words ‘Australian Antarctic Territory’ and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.
