2008 $1 90th Anniversary of The End of World War I 1oz Silver Coloured Proof Coin

At the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, the guns of World War I fell silent on a shattered Europe. The coin’s reverse design, which incorporates The Perth Mint's ‘P’ mintmark, depicts a lone bugler among red coloured poppies. The design is surrounded by the words 90th ANNIVERSARY OF THE END OF WORLD WAR I 1918-2008 and a representation of the 1904 Rising Sun badge featuring a scroll inscribed with the words AUSTRALIAN COMMONWEALTH MILITARY FORCES.
