2007 $1 APEC Australia PNC

The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) is the pre-eminent forum for facilitating economic growth and prosperity through the promotion of cooperation, trade and investment liberalisation in the Asia-Pacific region. It will culminate in Sydney on 2-9 September with APEC Leaders Week. The centrepiece of the forum is the APEC Economic Leaders Meeting on the 8-9 September - one of the most important annual meetings of world leaders. The 21 APEC members represent over 40 per cent of the world's population, 56 per cent of global GDP, and around 48 per cent of world trade.
